How To Open Up To Others
Everyone wants community right now but no one really knows how to practically approach those steps. Community doesn’t happen out of thin air, especially in the midst of turmoil. It’s earned through working against indifference and moving toward proactive love.
So what’s the biggest thing you can do first to build community? It starts with learning how to open up to others. How does one just “do” that?
Let’s break it down: opening up to others is a continually practice of self-awareness, vulnerability, and intentional communication.
You don’t need to master these things, but you do need to see them playing well in your life before your start building community. When you know how to open up to others, wisely and with those you trust or are building trust with you’ll start to see the first signs of community coming to fruition.
